Dr. Joy L. McCaffrey

Dr. Joy L. McCaffrey received a BS in biology and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan in '96. She completed medical school in Detroit, MI in '01 & completed her general surgery residency at Emory University in '06 followed by a fellowship in colon & rectal surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. She is well trained in a vast range of colon & rectal diseases and is board certified in both general surgery and colon & rectal surgery. Her interests include colonoscopy & minimally invasive surgery for a variety of benign & malignant colorectal diseases. Dr. McCaffrey also performs robotic-assisted colorectal surgery for treatment of diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, & colorectal cancers.
