The Adamsville-Collier Heights Branch Library was presented and dedicated on Saturday, July 8, 1989. The 10,000 sq. ft. facility opened to replace the old Collier Heights Library and to serve the Historical Communities of Adamsville, Collier Heights, and the Martin Luther King Business District. After serving the community for 30 years the library was closed for renovation in 2019; the newly remodeled library now boasts 21st -century technology in the Juvenile, Teen, and Adult areas and meeting room. There are 3 study rooms for a quieter study setting and small meetings, a designated Teen Area, and ample seating for patrons to sit and read. There are also powered study tables, an expanded bank of computers, and a laptop seating area.
