Robert C. Platner, MD, brings more than 20 years of experience in pediatric medicine to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County. Dr. Platner was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his professional pursuits at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his undergraduate degree. The following year, Dr. Platner enrolled at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Platner is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
