Jonathan Mathers, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. His specialties include arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, total joint replacement, fracture care, and general orthopedics. He employs the latest arthroscopic techniques including ACL reconstructions using quadriceps tendon autograft, cartilage restoration, rotator cuff repairs, and treatment of shoulder instability. He also has a special interest in custom total knee replacement. He has extensive experience in both operative and nonoperative treatment of fractures.
